Our QH-01 quadrant hinges are designed for fine box making. These hinges are 25mm long and 2mm thick. The width of the hinge leaf is 8mm to the start of the barrel. The barrel is 4.5mm diameter.The arm on the QH-01 is 36mm long and 8mm wide.
The hinge arm holds your box lid open at 95 degrees and is removable to aid fitting.
To fit these hinges a mortice is required to allow the hinge arm to retract. We suggest you mortice half into both the lid and half into box side. This can be done with a router or on a drill press.
Comes with 12mm 4g solid Brass Phillips Head screws.
The QH-01 comes as polished Brass, un-lacquered which will continue to dull off over time.
